GigaSpeed becomes iUHBA (International Ultra-High-Bandwidth Access) Networks

We will start using our new name and structure from now on. Whenever you read GigaSpeed International read, “iUHBA Networks“, and whenever you read GigaSpeed USA, read “UHBA Networks USA” (obviously, without the i at the beginning). This will be our new company structure, which is briefly described below.

Official acronym: iUHBA

Full name: International Ultra-High-Bandwidth Access Networks

Phonetic spelling: Ayoohba

Meaning: Ayoohba/Ayooba/Ajooba means “miracle/ miraculous” in Urdu language.

On Friday, January 30, 2009, GigaSpeed International, Inc.’s Board of Directors and Executive Team agreed to dissolve GigaSpeed International, Inc. per March 1, 2009. The entire Board and Team will transition to a company under a Limited Liability Corporation structure. This company will be named International Ultra-High-Bandwidth Access Networks, LLC. (iUHBA – pronounced Ayoohba). Any and all activities of GigaSpeed International, Inc. will be moved/switched to iUHBA Networks, LLC.

Our new name, iUHBA (an acronym), more appropriately describes the core of our business; we prefer to use UHBA (Ultra-High-Bandwidth Access) over NGN or NGA (Next Generation Networks/ Access).

Website: www.iuhba.com is coming up soon.
